Can anyone play the piano?

I am 30/40/50 years old. Does it mean that I'm too old to start learning the piano?
No! If you have always dreamt of playing the piano, it's never too late to start!
Do I need to bring anything along to the piano lesson?
Don't worry, you don't need to take anything for the first lesson. If you have played the piano before, I would appreciate if you bring the pieces you played recently.
What age can children start learning the piano?
The best age to start is around six, but some children are able to play at the age of 5, but you should be aware that playing the piano can be a challenge for such young children. They have to be able to concentrate for at least 30 minutes and to practise in their free time.
Do I need to have a piano/keyboard at home?
To be honest, if you think seriously of playing the piano you should have at least your own keyboard. But the most preferable would be a piano with 88 keys. To make any progress it is crucial to practise at home between your lessons.
Could you help me with a preparation for ABRSM exams?
Although I don't expect my students to take the exams, I am very happy to teach towards them. I will adjust our lessons to your abilities to make you sure that you will pass the exam.
